  9. --------
  10. 10000 is a popular dice game, the goal of which is to reach
  11. 10000 points through scoring different combinations of dice rolls.

  16. 10000 was written for Windows NT 4.0 and Windows Æ95.

  21. o Configurable for up to 6 players, human or computer
  22. o 3 different modes of computer play

  25. Installation
  26. ------------
  27. 10000 is distributed in 2 ways:
  28. A. As a self-installing executable (exe)
  29. B. As a zip file containing the base files for 10000
  30.  
  31. o For the self-installing executable, simply doubleclick
  32.   on the .exe and follow the on-line instructions.
  33.  
  34. o For the zip file, unzip the file and place all the files in a
  35.   new folder, perhaps called "10000".  To run the program,
  36.   execute or double-click 10000.exe.

  39. Uninstallation
  40. --------------
  41. If you installed using the self-installing .exe file:
  42. Go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs and select 10000
  43. from the listing - 10000 will automatically uninstall.

  45. If you manually unzipped the 10000 files:
  46. Delete the folder you created during the install, perhaps
  47. "10000".  All the files and settings used by 10000
  48. will be deleted.

  51. Playing 10000
  52. -------------
  53. Please see the on-line help, which can be accessed in one of
  54. the following ways:
  55. o Select the menu item Help->Help Index when 10000 is running.
  56. o Double click on 10000.hlp in your 10000 directory.
  57. o Double click on the "10000 Help" icon in your 10000 start menu folder.
  58.   (only available if you used the automated installation)

  60. Registration
  61. ------------
  62. 10000 is Shareware.  You may use it for a trial period of
  63. 30 days.  After 30 days, you must either register the product or
  64. discontinue usage of it.  The registration fee is US $15.

  68. o Registration of 10000 will entitled you to all versions
  69.   of 10000, now and in the future.
  70. o You will be supporting the Shareware concept and keeping
  71.   Shareware prices low for everyone.
  72. o Although all feedback and/or comments are much appreciated, your
  73.   input on what new features should be included in new releases of
  74.   10000 may carry greater weight.
